The "New" Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center

We're renovating the Woodruff Library and the transformation has already begun!

The Woodruff Library of the AUC has selected the internationally recognized architectual firm of Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson & Abbott and the award-winning construction management firm of Silverman Construction Project Managment to help us create a 21st century teaching and learning center that caters to the 24/7 information seeking behaviors of today's faculty and students.

When Phase I of the renovation is complete in Spring 2010, the "New" Woodruff will feature a totally redesigned Main Level, with signficant changes to the Library's Archives & Special Collections Department, Upper Level and Lower Level.

Library operations will continue during the transformation. However, some services will be relocated and/or modified to accommodate construction.
